welcome to the new version of the blog .
it’s been just over a year since i’ve started posting various opinions, and while i started with using google’s blogger, i think after a year it was time to ‘grow up’ in a sense. so, with this i’d like to thank you for stopping by on the previous url to read the posts and i hope that you will continue to do so. the new domain will allow me a bit more flexibility in terms of overall layout as well as give me the opportunity to have a few different pages. enjoy!

i’ve started this blog a while ago, and while this was inevitable, it is still quite a mark. this will be post number 100 on the blog, the century mark. thus, i’d say this does require a bit of reflection and the post itself does require to be dedicated. with this occasion i’d like to dedicate this post to someone special, to someone that’s been an inspiration over the last year. someone that has manage to inspire me to accomplish things i would have thought i could before… for this i would like to thank you for being part of my life…and influencing it in the way you have so far. i am eager to see what follows, as i’m certain it will be special.

as my first post, i feel i should explain at least the reason for having a blog. however, first i might as well start with what i want this blog to be for me and essentially for the ones that won’t find it to boring to read once in a while. an expression of personal thoughts, opinions and views on either daily occurrences or simply words.
at first, a blog was something undesirable, something rather unwanted due to mostly a desire of anonymity. ‘recently’, a friend advised me to create a blog, stating “see how it goes, start with a free one, share you words and enjoy”. i guess you could say he planted a seed destined to grow and get a shape. months have passed and i find myself at this point sitting and debating definitions and dissecting thoughts, only for morning to come and wish i could re-create the moments. for in the end, i guess i do have a selfish reason for creating this. give myself the opportunity to put thoughts on ‘paper’, somewhere where i’m most likely not going to press the delete button, and read them later to think and re-think an argument, a thought, days later or even months later. but for the thoughts, you’ll have to read on…
